Commissioners create new Dept. Director Evaluation Process!

The Board of Commissioners had a healthy discussion about the Department Director evaluation process and adopted a new process. The Board adopted the measure by 8 to 3.

As a former commissioner, it was frustrating how we evaluated Dept. Directors. I believe the debate was very insightful both pro and con. I think the new process provides a more thorough tool for evaluation. In addition, the Board of Commissoners still have a great level of influence on the process if they disagree.

As a Department Head, I am excited to show the executive committee in the evaluation process the progress made in the Register of Deeds office this year.
